Too Many Police Officers
I support the police. I support their mission, and the guts it takes for most of them to get up and do their job everyday. They have the responsibility of our safety. I also believe that legislators have made too many laws and redifined “safety” so many times that the true noble mission of a police officer is marred.
Then there are the bad apples. If the police department in a major city was only allowed to consist of two officers, I would bet a good deal of money that those officers would be excellent officers, the top of their class, and prime examples of good citizens. However, since legislators always want more and more police, even when they may not be warranted, each additional officer is less qualified than the one before him.
So, the question of the day- Where did this office rank in their graduating class?
