The 90’s might have lacked excitement but the one thing that one tradition that has carried over is the sex scandal. Thank President Clinton. Today Gov. Spitzer of New York held a press conference to announce his involvement in a sophisticated prostitution ring.

Gov. Eliot Spitzer has informed his most senior administration officials that he had been involved in a prostitution ring, an administration official said this morning.

My heart goes out to Gov. Spitzer’s family, and what this will mean to them. I hope he steps down quickly and disapears for so his family is not torn apart in this process. I will admit, that I am also glad that this wasn’t a republican. They have done enough to shoot themselves in the foot for a couple of elections cycles, so it is time for a brake.
