This is the dumbest thing in the world to boycott.
    Boycotting history is really intellegent.

According to Reuters, a company spokeswoman posted this on the Absolut website:

“Instead, it hearkens to a time which the population of Mexico may feel was more ideal.”

    Really?

I suppose this means that when Absolut ads are run in the UK, it will show a map of the UK plus the original thirteen colonies?

Absolut’s ad is nothing more than arrogant Eurpeans trying to export to Mexico what they believe to be “European sensibilities”. Hogwash. Appease Mexico at the cost of the US? This boycott has legs. Drink Stoli…

I totally agree about drinking stoli. About the rest you are saying…not so much. It’s just an ad, kids.

The UK version you mentioned is interesting. You might consider their other colonies covering roughly 25% of the earth’s land mass and housing close to half a billion people - one forth of the world’s population at the time (1921).

But how DARE they include the thirteen American colonies on such a preposterous ad!?!?!

And to think you actually put “Absolute Ignorace” in that picture…. haha, the irony!

GW - now has justifiable evidence that the Terrorist state of Sweden (now the newest member of the axis of evil) is plotting to aid Mexico in taking back the Southwest.

It’s time to get that Pre-emptive pencil sharpened again… Cheers to that.

It’s just an add people - get over it.
