Obama Speaks to Mob of Supporters
In Oregon on Sunday Barack Obama addressed his largest crowd of his campaign. The number of people that attended this event is amazing, and to put it into perspective it isn’t unreasonble to believe that the largest crowd that Rep. Tancredo’s spoke to during his campaign was 1000 or less and that Sen. Biden’s largest crowd was just over 1000.
Barack’s Sunday audience was over 65,000 people. That is gigantic. It also just goes to show the uphill battle that the Republicans have this year. The Republicans have the legislative ideas, the research, and the numbers to back up their legislation. However, the wave of voters that Sen. Obama might be able to draw out to the voting booth is a Tsunami that looms large over the Republican’s heads this election cycle.
Again, I don’t like Obama’s policy and I don’t think he is qualified to be President of the US, but the man is one of the best speakers of our generation, and as this campaign continues he is proving to be one of the best campaigners that ever graced a campaign trail.
