The Party of the People: The Democratic Primary (Ha!)

I don’t understand the democratic party. They claim to be the party of the people, but their legislation, speeches, and actions don’t even come close to representing their brand.  While those of us on the right have understood the left’s hypocrisy for a long time, it never ceases to amaze me when they let their slip show in public.

As an example, today the democratic party is debating whether or not to allow the delegates from Florida and Michigan to count. While this decision is easy for someone on the right of the aisle- Yes we care about their vote, no their vote doesn’t count. If you break the rules, you pay. The left, however, can’t make up a decision.  They don’t know whether to hold up to their decision or give in.  Contrary to the lefts legislation (parental) they are acting like little kids and running away from their problems.

Another example is the democratic parties reliance on party elitists to choose their candidate, yes they let everyone vote, they don’t count the votes, but they vote. I believe that the math comes to almost 30% of the delegate count is made up of super delegates or party elitists (aka- not the general populace).  If there is interest in the history behind why the democrats use this dictatorial methodology I would be happy to go into it.
