McCain to Pick Gov. Crist as Running Mate
Insider talk for weeks has been that Governor Crist was on Senator McCain’s shortlist as a Vice Presidential candidate. That talk escalated last week when Governor Crist came out in support of Senator McCain’s offshore drilling proposal.
However, the insider talk always seems to revert back to Governor Crist’s ambiguous sexuality. Of course, it is only ambiguous because of political gamesmanship, nonetheless, it was an issue that has plagued Crist Campaigns, and the type of back room talk that dominates the gossip halls of Congress and can become a blackball from being a running mate.
Crist just played his trump card, and in my belief has let us all know that he will be McCain’s running mate.

I hope Christ (R-FL), not Christ (D-Bethlehem) is a virgin. I would hate the idea of a republican hypocrite having sex outside of marriage.

I can see the bumper stickers now: McCain/Christ 2008. That should sure up the evangelicals.
Seriously, lets hope McCain doesn’t pick CRIST, age 52. The last thing the ticket needs is two candidates who, when talking about high gas prices, look like the first car they owned was a model T.
