The President bowing is bad, but covering it up is worse
Posted in analysis on April 9th, 2009Barack wants to lie us. Admittedly, I genuinely dislike almost all of the President’s policies, but it is his two faced cowardice that I just can’t handle. The most recent example was his cowardly bow to the Saudis
Now, let assume for a minute that the bow was not cowardly, but a true act of diplomatic immunity.
ha. Would a cover up then be a part of this drastic change in American Diplomacy and protocol? No, at least I don’t think so, but that is exactly what came out of the White House’s messengers.
“It wasn’t a bow. He grasped his hand with two hands, and he’s taller than King Abdullah,” said an Obama aide, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. (link)
What!?!? That wasn’t a bow? I think that the White House should publish their own YouTube video going over what a bow would then look like to them. Of course, that might be taking something just a little too far, but that is the point. If he bowed, he bowed, was it a mistake? If it wasn’t a mistake, then claim it? In the end a bow to foreign royalty is not respected by Americans and denying the bow is a slap in the face to the country that you bowed to.
